The Voluntary Non-Safety Recall of H1N1 Nasal Spray has affected the Monroe County Health Department.
It is important to point out that the recall is not safety-related, anyone who received the weakened H1N1 Nasal Spray Vaccine does not need to take any special actions.
The slight decrease in potency (or strenght) should not affect how the vaccine works.
There is no need to re-administer a dose to those who receive the recalled vaccine.
Children younger than 10 yrs old who have received only one dose of the H1N1 nasal spray vaccine thus far should still receive a second dose.

Restrictions have been lifted, everyone can attend!

March Clinic Dates:
Thursday, March 4 5 pm to 7 pm
Tuesday, March 9 5 pm to 7 pm
Thursday, March 11 5 pm to 7 pm
Wednesday, March 17 5 pm to 7 pm
Monday, March 22 5 pm to 7 pm
Monday, March 29 5 pm to 7 pm
Wednesday, March 31 5 pm to 7 pm
All clinics will be held at the health department
Nasal spray is a live virus vaccine and recommended for
Healthy 2 to 49 years old
Flu shot vaccine will be offered and is recommended for all ages 6 months and older.

Seasonal Flu Vaccine:
Seasonal Adult Flu vaccine is not available at this time.
We have Seasonal Flu Mist for 2-18 year olds
Seasonal Pediatric Flu Shots 6 months to 35 months
